A Green Deal Advisor is a qualified individual employed by an authorised GDAO who visits the property to undertake an assessment and make recommendations for energy saving measures that could improve the energy efficiency of the building and will have the technical knowledge, practical competence and skills to provide consumers with the advice they need in order to make informed decisions.
The Renewable Energy Consumer Code was set up by the Renewable Energy Association, guaranteeing a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small-scale energy generation systems for their homes.
