An initial assessment of the Park Home was conducted by independent engineers to ascertain the suitability for external wall insulation and identify any issues or defects within the property before our works began. Tests were also completed by Wetherby Building Systems (WBS) Technical Team to ensure that no additional support measures were required. We completed all the repairs and prepared the Park Home substrate ready for the system to be installed.
As an approved system installer, we used WBS External Wall Insulation to enhance the property and help reduce their fuel bills. We installed a 70mm EpsiTherm Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Insulation with a 1.5mm Silicone ‘K’ Render in 0500N (white) to give a fresh look. We also added Wetherby 15mm Brick Slips, in Laguna, to further enhance the property and overall finish.
Additional insulation was also installed to the chassis of the property to ensure the Park Home received the full thermal benefits of the refurbishment.
With a brand new look and improved appearance, the energy performance and thermal efficiency of the property was significantly improved. The property now has a reduced carbon footprint and enjoys lower energy bills.
Through early engagement and partnership approach with the material manufacturer we were able to offer Mrs Dwyer an enhanced customer journey with minimal disruption.
The heat is on for householders with the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
Householders could be paid hundreds of pounds a year for generating heat by solar thermal panels, biomass boilers and heat pumps.
